About this tool

Everyone has done it: typed a full paragraph, looked up, and found Caps Lock was on the whole time. Before you delete it all and start over — paste it here instead. One click turns SHOUTING text into calm lowercase, a plain sentence into a proper headline, or anything into the case you actually wanted.

It also handles the fussy jobs: Title Case for blog headlines and video titles, Sentence case for cleaning up pasted text, and aLtErNaTiNg case for the joke your group chat will either love or ban you for.

How to use the Case Converter

Questions people ask

What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?

Title Case capitalises the first letter of most words, the way headlines look. Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence, the way normal writing looks.

Does it change numbers or symbols?

No. Only letters are changed — numbers, punctuation and spacing stay exactly as they are.

Can it fix text typed with Caps Lock on?

Yes — that is its most loved job. Convert to lowercase or Sentence case and the paragraph reads normally again, no retyping.

Does Title Case capitalise every single word?

It capitalises every word including small ones like “of” and “the”, which some style guides prefer to keep lowercase. Check your headline once after converting.
