About this tool

“Let's meet at 3” is only half a sentence until both sides know whose 3 it is. Pick a time, pick where it is 3 o'clock, pick where you are — and see the converted time and date, with the exact difference spelled out so there is nothing left to misread.

The date line matters as much as the clock: a 9 AM call from Karachi to Sydney can land at 2 PM the same day, while the same call to Los Angeles sits at 8 PM the evening before. The converter shows the day shift plainly, because “see you tomorrow — your tomorrow or mine?” has ruined enough meetings.

How to use the Time Zone Converter

Questions people ask

Does it know about daylight saving on specific dates?

Yes — converting a July date uses July's rules and a January date uses January's, because the calculation runs through the real timezone database for the exact date you picked.

Why did the date change in the result?

The world is round and the date line is real. Converting across enough hours pushes the result into the previous or next day — the converter shows the new date explicitly so nobody joins a day late.

Can I plan a meeting for three countries at once?

Convert the time twice — once for each extra zone — or open the World Clock, which shows every zone's live time together on one page.
